Our task with Meridian Metals, an industrial metal recycling company headquartered in North Charleston, SC., was all about understanding the nature of this highly complex business and creating accessible content for their customers. Not an easy assignment since all of their “product” comes in the form of discarded and chopped machinery and equipment from the military and aerospace industry. In addition to the standard sections on the web site, Bates Design created a web catalog of sorts, with custom photography and descriptions for each of the various metals available for recycling. Organized with multiple tabs and drop down sections, we applied a clean design to a vast amount of information.
